Outstanding sustainable innovations were also being sought in 2015 for the Green Product Award: Emamidesign answered the call and has once again impressed on all fronts with its work. We are pleased with our first-place position in the Consumer Electronics category, and are proud that the expert jury chose our work from among the plethora of entries.
Around 400 entrants from 21 countries made submissions for the Green Product Award 2015. Emamidesign made it through to the Green Product Selection 2015 with not one but two of its products: with the flexibly expandable "Windflock" wind energy system, and with the innovative "DTSE9 G2" USB stick. Yet there was more to come: the expert jury awarded first place to our "DTSE9 G2" USB stick in the Consumer Electronics category.
The extremely compact USB stick's minimalist focus on optimal functionality and perfect user-friendliness impressed the prestigious representatives from the worlds of design, science and industry. The stick's puristic design purposefully dispenses with a plastic case, instead presenting itself in an elegant stainless steel housing which serves as a stable frame and protective case in one. A handy loop also makes it quick and easy to attach the stick to a keyring.
We at Emamidesign see all our awards as a welcome source of motivation to focus even more intensively on the topic of sustainability when designing products – for we are firmly convinced that this is the way to spare many precious resources. Together with our partners, we will develop successful, pioneering products – with companies such as Kingston Technology, for example, with whom we developed the "DTSE9 G2" USB stick, an award-winning global bestseller.
