The ACCECCE LPG composite cylinder was developed to overcome the limitations of conventional steel cylinders. By utilizing advanced composite materials, it is significantly lighter than comparable steel containers while offering excellent resistance to corrosion, UV exposure, and demanding environmental conditions.
A particular focus was placed on safety and ease of use. The translucent composite structure allows users to check the gas level at a glance, while the overall construction is engineered for durability and reliable everyday handling.
The design draws inspiration from the visual character of a basketball. Its distinctive surface texture informed the form development and gives the cylinder a unique and recognizable identity. At the same time, the textured surface improves grip and contributes to safer handling.
For transportation and storage, the geometry was designed to allow efficient stacking of multiple cylinders. A specially developed ergonomic handle, manufactured using a two-component injection molding process, further enhances carrying comfort and usability.
By combining lightweight construction, safety, ergonomics, and logistical efficiency, the ACCECCE LPG composite cylinder demonstrates how technical infrastructure products can be reimagined through thoughtful design and innovative materials.
