HIGGS is an intelligent and compact mini camera developed for the Fraunhofer Institute. Measuring just 110 × 25 × 25 mm, it combines advanced imaging capabilities with a distinctive and recognizable design language.
The design draws inspiration from principles of bioaesthetics. Particularly in combination with its characteristic tripod legs, the form evokes the appearance of a grasshopper, conveying agility, precision, and technological intelligence. This gives the product a distinctive identity that visually expresses its technological capabilities.
Despite its consistently reduced design language, HIGGS achieves a high level of recognition. The design gives the product a unique character and clearly differentiates it from conventional camera systems.
