In 2013, our design studio conceptualized and designed the USB stick "Data Traveler DTSE 9" for our renowned client, the industry leader Kingston Technology. Today, DTSE9 is the most produced and at the same time the most copied data carrier worldwide. In 2013, it was the pioneer USB flash drive made of metal with a large ring-like opening, which for the first time allowed the USB flash drive to be easily attached directly to objects such as a keychain and easily removed without the need for additional fasteners such as metal rings or cords.
Shortly after its market launch, numerous well-known manufacturers adopted this concept and imitated the design. Today, the minimalist form, combined with the large ring-like opening, symbolizes a USB stick.
